Dear Parents and Players :
The Woodbridge Fathers Baseball League (WFBL) will be
holding its Screenings (Try-Outs) for the Boys Minors and Majors
Divisions on the following dates :
Boys Minors
Dates : Monday, Feb. 25th &
Sunday, March 2rd
Location : Frozen Ropes (Orange, CT)
Boys Majors
Dates : Monday, March 3rd &
Saturday, March 8th
Location : Frozen Ropes (Orange, CT)
* Note that
as these are the only dates available, you are required
to attend try-outs at
one of the designated time slots. The WFBL Draft
will tentatively be held on Monday, March 10th, when Players will
be drafted onto their respective Teams for 2008.
SCREENING REQUIREMENTS
:
Boys Minors
: For all Players who
registered for Boys Minors (will either be 9 or 10 as of 04/30/2008),
these screenings are MANDATORY and you MUST
attend either of the dates so noted.
Boys Majors
: For all Players who
registered for Boys Majors (will either be 11 or 12 as of 04/30/2008),
these screenings are MANDATORY and you MUST
attend either of the dates so noted.
Note that ALL Players who have registered with
both the WFBL and Bethany BSL will play in their
respective League Division ; these Screenings will allow the Managers a
chance to view the ability of all the Players, which have been extremely
successful in not only obtaining parity among the Teams but also
strengthens the League as a whole.
