The Beth - Wood Baseball League (B - W), formerly the Woodbridge Fathers Baseball League and Bethany Summer League, is offering their 9th Annual $500. one-time Scholarship to a High School Senior who resides either within the Town of Woodbridge or Bethany, who has previously participated in the B – W (either as a Player or Umpire), who will be enrolling in a two or four-year accredited College / University and who has made a positive contribution not only to their School but also within their Community.

The B - W Board of Directors has established this Annual Scholarship to help those who through their participation in the B - W have helped them become more rounded individuals through the spirit of teamwork and fair play. In 2009, Beth – Wood awarded two (2) $ 500 Scholarships to deserving area students – one from Amity High School and the other from Notre Dame High School of West Haven.
